The multi pass is a smart card, valid during the summer, which gives you free access to, for example, the chairlifts in this vast area. This is great if you want to go mountain biking or hiking in the mountains. The convenient thing about this Multi Pass is that you only have to pay once and then you have unlimited access to the chairlifts. But unlimited chairlift is not the only advantage of the multi pass, there are also many other extras attached to it.
Before we go on to explain what you can do with the Multi Pass, it is useful to know where you buy it. All villages of Portes du Soleil have points of sale where you can purchase the pass. Such points of sales are often accommodations, tourist information points or chairlift ticket offices. You will then be able to choose either a pass for a single day, for several days or even for an entire season. Are you staying in one of FranceComfort’s resorts in Portes du Soleil? The Multi Pass has been developed to encourage people to go on holiday to the Portes du Soleil region outside of the ski season. There are various things you can for free with a Multi Pass. We've already talked about the chairlifts, but that's just the beginning. Other free things that are part of the Multi Pass are tennis courts, swimming pools and lakes, mini golf, tourist trains and all kinds of museums. All in all, there are about 70 activities included in the Multi Pass.
There are dozens of different activities that you get a discount on if you use a Multi Pass. For example, you will receive discounts at climbing parks, restaurants, shops, museums, spas and much more. This way there is something fun to do every day of your stay in this beautiful area. We therefore strongly recommend that you take a good look at the extensive program of activities that you get a discount with the Multi Pass. You could for example do multiple activities every day.
We would like to give you an example of a day's discount with the Multi Pass. After you have had breakfast in your luxurious holiday apartment, it is time to take the chairlift at no extra cost. Normally, a ride on the chairlift costs around €10, so you already have your first savings. When having arrived at the top, you are in the ideal place to go mountain biking. There are several providers where you can rent a mountain bike. Mountain biking normally costs about €60 for three hours. If you get a 10% discount on this with the Multi Pass, you will save €6.
You have undoubtedly worked up an appetite after mountain biking, so visit the nearby Avoriaz, where you will find all kinds of delicious restaurants. Several of these restaurants also offer a 10% discount. Lunch for €20,-? We will then add €2 to the total amount we have saved.
When visiting the Portes du Soleil in the summer, chances are it will be hot. Ideal conditions for a nice swim. You could ,for example, swim a couple of laps in the Forme d'O aquatic centre in Châtel. Normally you pay €8 for a ticket, but with the MultiPass admission is free.
It is already getting close to dinner time. You may already be hungry, but you can also choose to play a game of mini golf with the family first. You can do so on the miniature golf course in Abondance, which is also where the two resorts of FranceComfort are located. Play an 18 round mini golf game, thanks to the Multi Pass, you will receive a 1 euro discount on the entrance fee. An ideal way to end this busy is with a delicious dinner in one of Abondance's restaurants. There are also several places where discounts are given. Dinner for €30,-? That means an extra €3 discount per person. After a wonderful day in Portes du Soleil, you will have easily saved €30 per person! If you are with 4, 5 or 6 people, the amount you save during your holiday quickly adds up to €150 per day.
There is loads to do in Portes du Soleil during both the summer and winter. There is so much to do in this region, that you won't get bored easily. And after such a strenuous day, it is of course pleasant to be able to retreat to a pleasant stay.
