Smaller villages often offer the material at a cheaper price than other larger (and more popular) places. The difference in price can be quite significant.
More and more winter sports enthusiasts rent their skis or snowboard online. Renting your equipment online has several advantages. First op all, upon arrival you only have to pick up the ski/snowboard equipment, you won’t have any waiting times seen as the material is ready for you when you arrive so that you can go straight onto the slopes.
The ski rental shops themselves also strongly prefer online reservations. They reward these reservations with a 15% to 40% discount. A family with two children can rent four complete sets for € 300 for 6 days during the high season.
