Aquaparc Quercyland is a popular destination for a day out during the holidays. Many plan to visit the park during their stay in the Dordogne – Lot region in France. Quercyland is located in Souillac, a pretty place with an old church, a few shopping streets, restaurants and terraces. Soulliac is known as the gateway to the Périgord seen as it is located directly on the highway from Paris to Toulouse. Almost everyone heading to the Dordogne region, also called the Périgord, will take the Souillac exit on this péage, motorway, and from there continue west towards places such as Sarlat, Lanzac, Domme, Belvès etc. Quercyland is located by the Dordogne river which flows past Souillac. On the other side of the river, you can hike up the hills and enjoy a beautiful views.

Quercyland has all sorts of attractions most of which are in and around water, so perfect for a hot day. Large sun terraces and sunbathing areas with benches and sunbeds surround the pools. You can relax in the sun or in the shade. But the park has much more to offer. Quercyland also has a playground, a sports field, trampolines, race cars and a climbing course. The swimming pools of Quercyland

In the large water park there are five swimming pools and if you include the pools where the slides end up, there are actually seven. The five pools have different depths so that the young children can also swim safely. There are also several lifeguards who supervise the safety of the children and of course also of the adults. In the pools there are various attractions. A rock has been reconstructed where the children can climb on, and then slide down a slide. Several large mushrooms spray water. There is also a jacuzzi and a paddling pool.

Slides

The parks’ biggest eye-catchers are the slides. There is a slide that consists of six slides which you can go down with six people next to each other at the same time. The park has another slide on which you’ll go from left to right, then take a sharp turn and finally splash into the end pool. There is also a slide called the kamikaze slide, a slide on which you’ll reach great speeds. The waiting times for the slides are not too long.

Climbing course Accrobranche

The park also has a climbing course to which young children, teenagers and adults have unlimited access. For young children it is mandatory that a parent goes along. There are different climbing courses, depending on the age. In most cases, it is necessary to put on a safety vest that will connect you to the trail so that you cannot fall. Children always love the challenge of making it through the course without falling off.

Restaurant and bar

Quercyland has plenty of variety for food and drinks. The restaurant is open from April to September for lunch and dinner. In the summer months of July and August, the self-service restaurant is also open. You can go there for:
